Check out Deptford Goth. Let’s work our way up. Real Love Fantasy is very pleasant, with a clever use of Mimi‘s lyrics. Youth II is also worth a listen, but I don’t find it overwhelmingly moving. Just came across Went Away- a warm, uplifting song from the Maccabees’ latest album, Given to the Wild. They are playing Webster Hall (NYC) on June 13th. I can’t wait.
